At Zenjob, our people managers meet once a week to connect, discuss current topics and support one another in overcoming challenges. The session is moderated by the People & Org. Growth team but also with people managers who have the opportunity to gain experience running the sessions themselves. Some recent topics for discussion include giving and receiving feedback, conflict resolution and how best to delegate work across their team.

To give back some love to the people managers who contributed in 2019, we held a little award ceremony (see above photos) to recognize them for their regular attendance and contribution - great job everyone!
Last year our focus was to lay down solid foundations to support our people managers and the wider team with initiatives such as the people manager exchange, ongoing feedback cycles (upward & 360) and introducing a mentoring program.
This year, as we get ready to launch a structured people manager training program next month, we’re excited to see the impact this has for our people and the possibilities this opens up for their ongoing development paths (which we plan to share an update on later in the year) - stay tuned!
