The Opportunity

We're looking for a passionate Recruiting Team Lead to make an impact in how we nurture and attract candidates at Zenjob. If you're somebody who cares about candidate and hiring manager experience, takes a proactive approach to develop and grow your team, then we'd love to hear from you.


How You'll Contribute

  • Lead and develop the recruiting team that supports each team member's ongoing career development (you will be a coach and mentor to the team)
  • Define and implement recruitment best practices that enable us to raise the bar across all our hiring processes
  • Introduce ongoing training programs for the recruiting team, and all of our hiring partners across Zenjob
  • Evolve how we use data and insights to make better-informed hiring decisions
  • Establish Zenjob’s reputation as an organisation with a strong and authentic employer brand (internally & externally)
  • Represent Zenjob at external conferences, meetups, and events
  • Own all senior hiring processes, working with selected external agencies to manage the full recruiting cycle
  • Partner with the VP of People & Culture on all strategic workforce planning cycles 
  • Set and track the recruiting team budget including expenditure, investment and staffing your team.


About you:

You are action-orientated, have a bias to get things done to resolve problems and see things through to completion. You are passionate about building teams, developing others and leading by example. You build trust and take accountability for your actions, with your immediate team, key stakeholders and the wider-organisation. You question basic assumptions, break complex topics down into manageable pieces, applying critical and analytical thinking to the way you work. You have a growth mindset and are adaptable, ensuring those around you also develop to meet the ongoing challenges of their work. Finally, you take the time to celebrate your wins and have fun with your work.
