Chief of Staff (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Chief of Staff (m/f/x) to work with our CEO and the executive team. As right hand of the CEO and force multiplier you oversee staff/ internal operations and spearhead special projects. You will be an advisor and confidant to the CEO. 

How you'll contribute

  • Work directly with our CEO to transition, own, and drive forward key operational initiatives.
  • Keep the CEO accountable for commitments, while helping keep reports accountable for results.
  • Collaborate with department leads to develop, track, and target team-wide success across our quarterly OKRs.
  • Ensure the CEO is working on the most important topics for the company.
  • Assume ownership of day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks, understand top priorities, manage people and timelines to ensure things get done.
  • Manage priorities: do calendar audits, review and synthesize metrics/ initiatives to support company priority setting
  • Run weekly staff meetings, manage the OKR and annual planning processes, support with board meeting prep, create decision-making frameworks, manage All Hands programming
  • Keep the CEO accessible and open to new ideas and proposals.
  • Lead strategic projects such as customer research for potential business opportunities, run an acquisition process, lead the search for an executive hire

What you bring

  • Profound experience in project management and ownership.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, regardless of seniority.
  • Mediate / bridge conflicts to enable leadership to be more successful.
  • Strong written and public speaking communication skills in German and English.
  • High levels of integrity and discretion.
  • University degree; likely in business, economics or computer science. 
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, banking or a scale up.
  • Experience in managing Objective and Key Results (OKRs) is a strong plus.
